    • The connection between the woodlice (Dactylopius Coccus) and the red jelly beans is that the woodlice are the ones that give the reddish color to the candy. It’s a natural dye called E-120.
The Vegan / freak people can’t eat them.

  1. We can find a connection between these images. Both photos have got snacks to eat when you want. In the first picture, there are sweets. I sometimes buy sweets at the weekends. In the second picture, there are some insects. In some countries, for example in China and Brazil, people are used to eating insects. I couldn’t eat insects because they are disgusting.

  2. The relationship existing between the woodlouse, which are small crustaceans and the jelly beans, is that you can extract the cochineal (coloring) from the woodlouses, which is a red food coloring wich is used, for example, in sweets. This coloring is very extended and used in many foods and drinks. It’s amazing! And this sweets they carry it.

  3. The connection between the two pictures is…

THAT INSECTS ARE USED TO MAKE THAT RED COLORANT.

Yep, the cochineal produces carminic acid, in they habit deters predation by other insects, and it is used to make the colorant E120, or natural red 4.

In my opinion, this is disgusting, the companies hide this details tothe customers and the worst part of all is… THE PEOPLE DON’T CARE AND WE ARE STILL CONSUM THAT TYPE OF PRODUCTS.

    • One of the connections between the woodlice and the gummies is the red color of the gummies, which is produced by the woodlouse. In addition, the red woodlouse colouring, or better known as E-120, is the best red colouring in the market. Vegetarians asked large companies not to use woodlice for food use, according to [link]

  6. In the first picture there are candies and in the second picture there are bugs ball.
The conection between the first and the second is the E-120. The E-120 is a red colorant that the candies have got. It’s made by bugs ball.
To get this colorant you must plant cactus and wait two years. Next mothers bugs ball plants their eggs in the cactus. Past three months, they catch the bugs ball to transform them in colorant.

  9. In the two photos they look like in the two they eat . The sweets are eaten because we have that constumbre as bugs eat in Brazil or China and here we do mot eat them because we are not used to , but if we had it then we would eat them.

    • Both a pictures are foods, but the sweets are less healthy than the cochineal. In Spain, it is not typical to eat insects but in other countries, it is. also with the blood of the cochineal there is produced for the red sweets because the other colours is removed other thinks (cactus, other animals…) [nonsense]

  10. The natural red carmine dye comes from the cochineal (Dactylopius coccus). It is known as E-120.
The cochineal is a plump white aphid from Mexico and Peru. Parasitic animal, to live needs plants of the genus Opuntia, known as prickly pears, prickly pears or figs. More than 2,000 years ago it was already used in America to dye dresses and color food.
