  1. I have chosen the joke ‘STUDENTS IN SPANISH= ESTUDIANTES’. The laughter of the joke is that the word in Spanish can be divided in three words that translated into English that they mean ‘study day before’ that is to say ‘Estudia el día de antes’ as we usually do for exams of all subjects.

  2. I chose the image of the scarf, because it represents capitalism of today very well, since people care more about the material things you can get buying than the people around you.

  3. I have chosen the last image. It is a very common joke that has several variants and its Spanish counterpart. The grace is that the meaning it asks for is a negative answer to the question. Its like the joke: “Can you tell me what does ‘ofc’ means?” / “Of course” / “Ok, but what does it means?”. Or in Spanish: “¿Como se escribe en ingles ‘nariz’?” / “Nose” / “Joder, otro que no lo sabe”.

  4. The “Goodnight honey, goodnight deer” joke is funny because the words honey and deer are used as affectionate nicknames but in the drawing, they have used the literal translation, deer means “ciervo” and honey means “miel” in Spanish.

  5. The joke that I have chosen is in which god appears and a car accident. This joke is very simple, basically the car accident is caused by god, because god is playing the Scalextric, for this he has a joystick.

  6. I choose the first, because it means that we currently abuse social media a lot and we upload everything we do. By uploading our actions to the network we get everyone to know what we do, who we are with and where we are, removing our privacy.

  8. I choose the second joke.
It´s funny because we all have seen at least once a video of Donald Trump where he say that news are “fake news” only because that news doesn´t benefit him.
Here we can say the same “story”: He weighs itself in the balance and surely sees that he has put on weight, and that doesn´t benefit him, that´s the reason why he screems at the balance, because it is liying him.

  10. I’ve chosen the sheep joke, because it makes me funny as it’s represented. The funny thing of this is by the popular expression “count sheep if you can’t sleep”, the sleeping man had the task of counting all the sheep and when counting them he has fallen asleep, that’s why the other man when he arrives finds him on the floor sleeping.

  11. I have chosen the joke about “students in spanish” because it represent me very well. The picture show the word study in spanish “estudiar” and separe it on 3 words study “estudiar”, day “día”, before “antes”. This three words represents the majority of spanish students, because we never do things with time and we end up doing them the day before.

  12. I have chosen the last image. There, two girls appear. The blonde girl asks the other what does the expression “IDK” means, and the brunette girl only says: “I don’t know”. The blonde girl, confused and surprised, believes that nobody knows what this abbreviation means, but what she doesn’t realize is that “I don’t know” is exactly the meaning of that expression.
