[1BCH][2BCH] The Red Pill

The Red Pill shifts from Jaye’s investigation of what she initially believed to be a hate movement to more sympathetic coverage of the movement. The shift is shown in the film through Jaye’s questions about her own views on gender, power, and privilege. The Red Pill also discusses issues facing men and boys, including interviews with men’s rights activists and those supportive of the movement, interviews with feminists critical of the movement and excerpts from Jaye’s video diary.

  1. I found the documentary very interesting because it talks about problems that some men have such as divorces, child custody or suicides.
The director deals with issues that are not taken into account in everyday life and that’s what she has discovered by making the documentary.
Although I disagree on the issue of child custody. In most cases, custody of the children is usually taken by the parent who is closest to the child. If it’s the father who is away from home for a long time, the child usually goes with the mother. But when the child is of a certain age, he can choose who to be with.
In conclusion, it is a documentary made by a woman who was previously a feminist and when she making the documentary she has realized some things.

  2. The red pill is a documentary in which the protagonist, who is a feminist, talks with people who are part of the men’s rights movement.
She think that grup hate womans, but doing interviews to the men who form and to the founder who are part of that movement realizes that it is not like that. As the documentary goes on, she realizes that all this People seek equality more than hatred of women
I think it is a very entretaining documentary because its to closely related to current events

  3. I think the red pill is a very interesting documentary, since it makes us reflect through other people’s opinions.
This documentary is produced by Cassie Jaye, it is about the Men’s Rights Movement. She interviews feminist people, thus making people of the world see different points of view and the freedom of each one.

In my opinion I think there is not much freedom of expression and it is a good documentary, so I recommend it for people to see.

  4. Red pill is a documentary that talks about the rights of men and how men are affected by the new laws and the new society. I think that society has always underestimated women because they saw them only as tools for the home and reproduction and that is not true, I think that they serve more and I agree to give women more opportunities but they encourage them to they have to do university degrees or be great bunisesswoman but they are not encouraged to work in the fields or in mining or in construction, which is where people die and until these jobs are not equally represented by women as by man, they do not know could be the same, although it is being achieved and there are more women.

  5. The red pill is a documentary that explains the movement for the rights of the men, which want to chase de equality in both genres.
The protagonist is Cassie Jaye which is a periodist interested in feminism movement. This girl interview a lot of mens right activist.

From my point of view, I think women and men should have the same rights because for my the politics against men are not a solution for this inequality and other solution would be applied.
